Here's the route they'll take today - the Ring of Kerry:

Long and tiring day, but fun times and new friends are made.

Everyone is winding down for the night after a very long and tiring day. We are traveling with two other groups—one from Missouri and one from Iowa. All seem to be getting along well, and I've already heard lots of wows! We all took a long jaunting car ride through Killarney National Park, followed by a relaxing (maybe too relaxing) boat ride across beautiful Lough Leane. After checkin at the hotel, we had dinner together, then everyone tried to get in touch with folks back home.

Tomorrow is a very busy day as we tour the Ring of Kerry. I'll post again tomorrow night.

Jet lag setting in, so . . . zzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

This group photo was shot at the limestone sculpture outside Bunratty Castle. The sculpture is by artist Fred Conlon, an American, and is a bench made to look like a Celtic jewelry item—a gorget.
